About Us

Our Non-Center Day Support Services provide skill-building support for the improvement of self-advocacy, self and environmental awareness, socialization, community integration, behavior modification, and daily living skills to name a few. We believe that community integration is essential for a fulfilled life, which is why our programs take place in real-world environments where individuals can develop practical skills, build genuine relationships, and pursue their interests. Bright Minds Day Support for Children provides opportunities for peer interaction, development of natural supports, and community engagement through various volunteer and community activities. We utilize an individualized approach that focuses on tailoring support and activities to meet each child's unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Community Engagement Approach

At Bright Minds Day Support for Children, our activities are inclusive and tailored to each child’s needs and abilities, fostering social interaction, skill development, and a sense of belonging. Some of these activities include:

  • Recreational outings to parks, museums, sporting events, and local attractions

  • Involving children in age-appropriate volunteer activities to foster a sense of social responsibility

  • Participating in group activities to enhance teamwork and social skills

    **Transportation provided to and from activities

Our Non-Center Day Support services are available to children aged 6-17 years old with Building Independence (BI) Waivers, Family and Individual Support (FIS) Waivers or Community Living (CL) Waivers.

We'll work with each child, their guardian and support coordinator to determine which services best match your needs and coverage.
